Yeah, that type of thing has been happening pretty regularly since the automated passenger announcement system was modified with Green Line info. I've noticed a lot of operators taking it upon themselves to manually make stop announcements, which is pretty cool of them.
I occasionally listen to OregonLive.com's Police Scanner and have heard operators discussing APACU problems and having to reboot them, etc. But what I was a little surprised to see the other day was a Type 4 train with different destinations on each car.
I should add, the audio announcements were actually correct, just all the signage was off, the front head sign was white (Blank), so it just wasn't a good day for signs on this train.
