As a Oregon City School District student that hevily relies on trimet to fufill certain class activities and projects, along side my future need of it for to and from transportation, I find this unfair to any other Trimet serviced school children.
Also, why would Trimet, after cutting bus service from fairless square, then turn around and give a free ride to students of PPS? That seems very counter-productive.
I completely agree with you. If they want to offer a discount, they need to do it everyone in the service district. I personally think they should offer all schools a discounted Semester pass, similar to what many agencies to for college students, one flat rate, $40 or so, covers the semester, or half year, however they want to work it. Honestly what PPS is doing is rude to everyone else!

well it may be rude, but at least I get to take advantage of free bus/MAX rides until june of next year. *muhhaaaahaaahaaaaaa*
